How do I connect to my own desire, or yearning to be desired? Am I someone who seldom feels desired or desirable for who I am rather than for what I can do or give? Do I hold back, fearing that unleashing someone else's desire might unleash a force too intense? Do I perceive my desires as too demanding or too passive?
Throughout history, artists and thinkers have explored the role of beauty and desire in our world. In the modern era, desirability has often been disfigured to the point where we live in confusion and disconnection. Let us reconnect and realign with our inner truths and our own imperfect perfections. Let us reconnect with our desires, and our capacity to enjoy being the object of desire.
Choose your role
This workshop is welcoming and inclusive – and either role is open to all for experimentation. The invitation is to play in an unfamiliar role, if that feels right. To be the object of desire, or to be the one desiring another. A key component of this workshop is the respectful acknowledgment and practice of consent.
Stepping into Desire
All folks who find the role unfamiliar, are invited to boldly step into desire for desire’s sake alone-free from the usual expectation to please their partners. This role is for the pleasure of the one desiring, taking in another’s beauty and fully enjoying it. We invite you to engage with and appreciate another's beauty without the immediate need to reciprocate or fulfill a partner's desires, with the assurance that you can cease participation at any moment of your choosing, without worry or expectations.
BREATHE. MOVE. EXPLORE.
As our society becomes more digital, more divided, more disconnected - we offer a place to shift back into the here and now.
